The Senior Special Assistant on Political Matters to the executive governor of Delta state, Ikechukwu Martin Okakwu, has called on workers in the state to key into the SMART AGENDA of governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
Okakwu who made the call in a press statement singed and made available to newsmen in Asaba, said “It’s a collective responsibility for all Deltans, especially the workers in the state to work in line with the SMART AGENDA of Sen. Dr Ifeanyi Okowa as it’s clear that he means well for the people”.
He also admonished the people of the state, to always embrace peace in every ramification of their lives as it’s the only panacea to development.
Okakwu hailed the state governor, Sen. Dr Ifeanyi Okowa for delivering dividends of democracy to the people within his first year in office and standing by his words to make the state an enviable one among other states in the country.
He thanked the governor for always meeting with the demands of workers in the state, despite the dwindling revenue accruing to the state from the federation account.
The SSA to the governor, appealed to all Deltans irrespective of party affiliations to join hands with Sen. Dr Ifeanyi Okowa in moving the state forward.
