The Working Committee of the Rivers State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has paid a condolence visit to HRM Omunakwe Nsirim (OCC) over the demise of his son, Hon. Ovunda Nsirim, a former member of the House of Representatives and strong pillar of the Party.
The visit, led by the Chairman of the Rivers State Chapter of the PDP, Brother Felix Obuah, was a follow up on an earlier condolence visit by the His Excellency, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, CON, Governor of Rivers State to His Majesty’s palace at Rumueme in Obio Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The State PDP Chairman, Bro. Obuah, expressed sadness over the untimely demise of Hon. Ovundu Nsirim, whom he described as a great asset to the Party and a committed Party man.
Bro. Felix Obuah while commiserating with the Father of the deceased, HRM, Nyeweli Omunakwe Nyeche Nsirim, prayed God to grant him and his kingdom the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and assured him that the Rivers State Chapter of the PDP would support and participate fully in the burial rites of the former Federal Lawmaker.
The condolence visit drew attendance from top Party stalwarts from across the State.
