We have been distracted so much with petrol price increase, fake anti- corruption war, padded budget and fulani invasion to fail to notice a very subtle but dangerous infiltration of our financial sector with the license approval for Jaiz Islamic bank and its micro-finance institutions.
Islamists are pushing for another area of conquest of our Indigenous people with the subtle licensing of their Jaiz bank with full authorization of the Sultan of Sokoto and Abdulmutallab, using the CBN as a legal backing.
We may not see the danger embedded in this scheme now. As usual, our ever educated Southern illiterates will come out to wave it off with their usual big grammer, telling us how harmless it is. And that if you like, you can go and obtain your own license for Christian bank.
The dangers posed by the Islamic bank might not be apparent now until they have succeed in using it to finance sensitive projects in our area and entice our gullible citizens with their free loans. And in the next ten to twenty years, the trap will become glaring.
There is nothing free in Islam! Whatever they promise you is free is not free. It is a subtle enslavement which will be very difficult to come out from!
Igbo citizens doing business must crush this subtle Islamization agenda by making Jaiz bank irrelevent and ineffective across Igbo land and Biafra. We must avoid it with all it promised.
All the governors of the Southeast must resist borrowing loans or funding any project with a Jaiz loan. Do not enslave our people to Islam.
If you establish a Christian bank today, no fulani muslim anywhere will touch it with whatever it promises. They will avoid it like a pleague, telling you it is an infidel scheme. Why can’t our people do the same with Islamic bank??
But come to think of it, why must everything done in this country be coated with religion? Why can’t we do things without attaching religion to it? What has religion benefited us around here as a people since its introduction by the invading Arab? Except divisions, hatred, alarming corruption, wanton killings and domination by force?
