Makurdi – The day two of the ongoing strike embarked upon by the Nigeria Labour Congress in process of total deregulation of the petroleum downstream sector witnessed total compliance in Benue State on Thursday. The State and Federal secretariats in Makurdi, the state capital were under lock and key when Independent came knocking. Even the Teaching Service Board (TSB) office opposite the Federal Secretariat was locked up. Banks and other business places were not left out as most of the bank staff remained in their offices even though they locked out customers.
