Twenty six ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive at Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos from May 24 to June 16.
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its publication – `Shipping Position’, in Lagos on Tuesday.
NPA explained that the expected ships contained buckwheat, bulk sugar, general cargoes, crude palm olein, bulk charcoal, bulk gypsum, bulk pet coke, bulk salt, containers, diesel and petrol.
The document noted that 11 ships had arrived at the ports, waiting to berth with petrol, base oil, crude palm olein, bulk fertilisers and aviation fuel.
It stated that 13 other ships were at the ports discharging general cargoes, buckwheat, containers, bulk sugar, bulk charcoal and petrol.
