I am yet to
understand what disaster we faced under
Jonathan.
Is it freedom of speech? Obedience to court
orders? Better economy? Freer elections? Free
opposition? Food sustainability? Youths
employment? Absence of official police
brutality? No detention of opposition members
without trial? DSS and EFCC being above the
law? Availability of cheap fuel? Revival of
railways? Establishment of several new
universities? Eradication of polio? The handling
of the Ebola crisis?
Agreed, Jonathan wasn’t a superb president, he
had his failings and as in every democracy,
people are entitled to change their leaders
when they feel he’s not doing his best. That I
understand.
However, this constant depiction of Jonathan
as a disaster just to sound politically correct
makes no sense to me..
Disaster is what we face now..”
